Just two days later, Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent was killed in a hit-and-run in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. These brave members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.
“We remember Corporal Cirillo as a dedicated soldier who was always willing to help others. He was a proud member of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (Princess Louise’s), and he served his country with distinction in Afghanistan.
“We remember Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent as a remarkable leader who was always there for his troops. He was a highly decorated veteran of the CAF, and he served his country with great pride and dedication.
“The deaths of Corporal Cirillo and Warrant Officer Vincent were a great loss to the CAF and to Canada. They will never be forgotten.
