Plano, Texas – Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) today announced several executive changes, effective January 1, 2025. These changes are designed to strengthen the company’s leadership and drive continued growth.
Ted Ogawa has been appointed Executive Vice President of Sales for TMNA. In this role, Ogawa will be responsible for all sales, marketing, and customer experience operations in North America. He will report to Mike Sweers, TMNA’s Chief Executive Officer.
Ogawa brings 25 years of automotive experience to this role, including various leadership positions in sales, marketing, and product planning. He most recently served as Vice President of Toyota Division Sales.
Jack Hollis has been appointed Executive Vice President of Lexus for TMNA. Hollis will be responsible for all aspects of the Lexus brand in North America, including product planning, marketing, sales, and customer experience. He will report to Sweers.

Kevin Hunter has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer for TMNA. In this role, Hunter will be responsible for developing and executing all marketing and advertising campaigns for Toyota and Lexus in North America. He will report to Sweers.
Hunter has a diverse background in marketing and communications, having held leadership roles at several major consumer brands. He most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for Toyota Division.
Sandy Scott has been appointed Chief Safety Officer for TMNA. In this newly created role, Scott will be responsible for leading Toyota’s safety initiatives and technologies in North America. He will report to Sweers.
Scott has extensive experience in automotive safety, having held leadership roles at both Toyota and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). He most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Planning and Strategy for TMNA.
