Washington, D.C., February 18, 2025 – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has appointed Brian Dugan as the new Assistant Director of its Training Division, effective March 6, 2025. Dugan will oversee the development and implementation of all training programs for FBI special agents, intelligence analysts, and other personnel.

Before joining the FBI, Dugan served as a police officer in the New York City Police Department (NYPD). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from Marist College.
As Assistant Director of the Training Division, Dugan will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the design, development, and delivery of all FBI training programs
