Minister Ng to Travel to Australia for 2025’s First Team Canada Trade Mission
Ottawa, February 13, 2025 – The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, today announced that she will lead a Team Canada trade mission to Australia from March 12-16, 2025.
The trade mission will focus on key sectors where Canadian businesses have competitive advantages, including clean technology, life sciences, and artificial intelligence. It will also provide opportunities for Canadian businesses to explore new partnerships and investment opportunities in Australia.
“Australia is a key market for Canadian businesses,” said Minister Ng. “This trade mission will build on the strong economic ties between our two countries and help Canadian businesses succeed in this dynamic and growing region.”
The trade mission will include business representatives from a range of sectors, including:
