San Antonio, Texas (February 10, 2025) – Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) today announced up to $6.5 million in grants to local San Antonio organizations through its Toyota Together Community Grants program. The grants will support nonprofit organizations that are working to address the city’s most pressing needs, including education, workforce development, and environmental sustainability.

The Toyota Together Community Grants program is part of Toyota’s broader commitment to giving back to the communities where it operates.   • San Antonio River Authority: $1 million to support the River Authority’s efforts to protect and restore the San Antonio River.
  • South San Antonio Independent School District: $1 million to support the School District’s STEM education programs.
  • University of Texas at San Antonio: $1 million to support the University’s research and development of renewable energy technologies.
  • Alamo Colleges District: $500,000 to support the College District’s workforce development programs.
  • San Antonio Housing Authority: $500,000 to support the Housing Authority’s efforts to provide affordable housing to low-income families.

The Toyota Together Community Grants program is open to all 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the San Antonio area. Applications for the 2026 grant cycle will be accepted starting in May 2025.
