Plano, Texas (February 10, 2025) – TRD U.S.A., the performance division of Toyota Motor North America, today announced its 2025 Driver Development Program lineup, featuring a diverse group of up-and-coming racing stars.
The program, which has produced some of the most successful drivers in motorsports, is designed to identify and develop the next generation of Toyota racing talent. This year’s lineup includes:
- Cooper Albright (17 years old, Lancaster, Pennsylvania): Albright is a rising star in the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda. He finished seventh in the 2024 championship and won the Rookie of the Year award.
- Sarah Edwards (19 years old, Charlotte, North Carolina): Edwards is a two-time Trans-Am Series champion in the TA2 class. She made her NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2024 and finished 12th in the championship.
- Christian Elliott (20 years old, Glendale, California): Elliott is a former World Karting Champion and has competed in the Toyota Racing Development (TRD) Pro Invitational Series. He finished second in the 2024 TRD Pro Invitational Series championship.
