OTTAWA, ON – February 4, 2025: Today, the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, announced that Randy Boissonnault, Minister for Economic Development for Western Canada, will host a roundtable with industry leaders to discuss the potential impacts of U.S. tariffs and economic resilience.
The roundtable will be held on February 10, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta, and will bring together representatives from a variety of industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, and energy. The roundtable will provide an opportunity for industry leaders to share their insights on the potential impacts of the tariffs, and to discuss strategies for mitigating the risks and enhancing economic resilience.
