Government of Canada to Hold Technical Briefing on Canada’s Participation at INC-5
Ottawa, November 27, 2024 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly, announced today that the Government of Canada will hold a technical briefing on Canada’s participation at the fifth Impulse Network Conference (INC-5) in March 2025.
INC-5 is a global conference that brings together government, industry, academia, and civil society to discuss the latest trends in artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on society. The conference is an opportunity for Canada to showcase its leadership in AI and to collaborate with international partners on the development and responsible use of AI.
The technical briefing will be held on December 12, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST. It will provide an overview of Canada’s participation at INC-5, including the conference’s themes, Canada’s delegation, and opportunities for Canadian stakeholders to engage.
