November 26, 2024 – The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Aqualunar Challenge Innovator Bootcamp, a unique opportunity for Canadian innovators to develop their lunar water prospecting technologies and contribute to the exploration of the Moon.
The bootcamp will take place from June 12-16, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario. It will bring together a select group of entrepreneurs, researchers, and students from across Canada who are working on innovative technologies for detecting, extracting, and utilizing water on the Moon.
The Aqualunar Challenge is a global competition organized by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA). The competition aims to advance technologies that can locate and extract water on the Moon, a critical resource for future lunar missions.
The Innovator Bootcamp will provide participants with the opportunity to:
- Learn about the latest lunar water prospecting technologies
- Network with experts from the CSA, NASA, and ESA
