November 12, 2024 – Today, the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, announced a $2 million investment to support hundreds of women entrepreneurs across Canada in strengthening their business skills.
This investment will be delivered through the Women Entrepreneurship Fund, which provides funding to organizations that offer training, mentorship, networking, and other support services to women entrepreneurs.
“Women entrepreneurs are a driving force in our economy, and they deserve our support to succeed,” said Minister Ng. “This investment will help women entrepreneurs develop the skills they need to grow their businesses and create jobs.”
The Women Entrepreneurship Fund is part of the Government of Canada’s Women Entrepreneurship Strategy, which aims to increase the number of women-owned businesses in Canada and to help them grow and succeed.
