OTTAWA – The Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, will participate in the following events on Saturday, November 9, 2024, as part of Veterans’ Week.
9:00 a.m.
The annual Veterans’ Week Run / Walk Confederation Park 2500 Confederation Parkway, Ottawa Minister MacAulay will participate in the run/walk.
9:30 a.m. The Royal Canadian Legion’s Wreath Laying Ceremony National War Memorial 30 Elgin Street, Ottawa Minister MacAulay will deliver remarks and lay a wreath on behalf of the Government of Canada.
10:00 a.m. The Royal Canadian Legion’s National Remembrance Day Ceremony Shaw Centre 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa Minister MacAulay will deliver remarks and read the Act of Remembrance.
6:30 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command Dinner Shaw Centre 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa Minister MacAulay will deliver remarks.
