Minister MacAulay will be joined by Ron McKinnon, Member of Parliament for Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam; Elenore Sturko, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Surrey-Fleetwood; and Kelly Greene, President of the Surrey Legion.

The Veterans Homelessness Program is a new initiative that will provide funding to organizations that are working to prevent and reduce homelessness among Veterans. The program will provide support for a variety of services, including housing, counseling, and job training.

In Surrey, the program will be administered by the Surrey Legion. The Legion has a long history of supporting Veterans in the community, and they are well-positioned to deliver the services that are needed.
