From 12 December 2024, the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be introducing new fees for its services.

The new fees will be as follows:
- Standard DBS check: £23
- Enhanced DBS check: £40
- Enhanced DBS check with barred list check: £44
- Volunteer (£5) or Occasional DBS check (for organisations carrying out in-house DBS checks only): £15
- Overseas criminal convictions check (for organisations making overseas checks only): £33
The new fees will apply to all DBS applications made on or after 12 December 2024.
The DBS is also introducing a new online payment system, which will make it easier and more convenient for customers to pay for their DBS checks.
The new system will be available from 12 December 2024.
