Kevon Walker, a 23-year-old senior defensive back on the Saint Francis University football team, died on Monday, Aug. 29, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Walker, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, was a three-year starter for the Red Flash. He was named First Team All-Northeast Conference in 2022 after leading the team with five interceptions.
Walker was also a member of the track and field team at Saint Francis. He was the 2022 NEC champion in the 60-meter hurdles.
The cause of Walker’s death is still under investigation.
