KHARTOUM, Sudan – The top United Nations humanitarian official in Sudan has warned of escalating violence in two states, urging all parties to immediately cease hostilities and protect civilians.
In a statement released on Monday, Adam Abdelmoula, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan, expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security situation in West Darfur and South Kordofan states.
