Appointment of Matt Clifford CBE as the AI Opportunities Adviser

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) today announced the appointment of Matt Clifford CBE as the AI Opportunities Adviser.
Mr Clifford is a leading figure in the technology industry, having served as founder and CEO of various successful technology companies, including the venture capital firm Entrepreneur First. He is also a non-executive director of BT Group and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford.
In his new role, Mr Clifford will provide strategic advice to the DCMS on how to maximize the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence (AI) for the UK.
