Washington, D.C. – President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. has declared a major disaster in North Dakota due to severe storms, flooding, and landslides last month. The declaration makes federal assistance available to affected individuals in the counties of Cass, Grand Forks, Pembina, Richland, Sargent, Steele, and Traill.

Federal funding is also available to individuals and households affected by the disaster. FEMA’s Individual Assistance program provides financial assistance for temporary housing, home repairs, and other essential needs.
