This Order amends the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Warwickshire College) Order of Council 2014 (“the 2014 Order”) to reflect the change of name of Warwickshire College to Warwickshire College and University Centre.
The 2014 Order gives Warwickshire College the power to award degrees, diplomas, certificates and other qualifications that are validated by a recognized awarding body. The Order also sets out the conditions that Warwickshire College must meet in order to exercise this power.
The Amendment Order changes the name of Warwickshire College to Warwickshire College and University Centre in the 2014 Order. This change reflects the fact that Warwickshire College has now been granted university status.
