The Welsh Government has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily restrict traffic on the A55 Trunk Road between Junction 1 (Kingsland Roundabout), Holyhead, Anglesey and east of Junction 11 (Llys y Gwynt Interchange), Bangor, Gwynedd.
The Order will enable lane closures and diversions to be put in place to facilitate essential deep drainage works. The works will take place in phases, with different sections of the road being closed at different times.
The restrictions will be in operation from 23:00 hours on 23rd December 2024 to 06:00 hours on 19th September 2025.
During the works, a diversion route will be signposted. The diversion route will use the A5025 and A5.
The Welsh Government has taken account of representations made to it in relation to the Order.
The Order may be inspected online at www.trafficwales.org or at Glan y Don, Department of Infrastructure, Welsh Government, Llandudno Junction, LL31 9RZ between 9:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
