2025 Toyota bZ4X BEV Electrifies with Lower Price and New Nightshade Edition
December 17, 2024
Torrance, Calif. – Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) today announced the 2025 Toyota bZ4X BEV (battery electric vehicle) will arrive at dealerships nationwide this spring with a lower starting price and the addition of a new Nightshade Edition.
The 2025 bZ4X XLE FWD has a starting MSRP of $42,000, a reduction of $2,600 from the 2023 model. The XLE AWD has a starting MSRP of $44,085, a reduction of $2,585.
The new Nightshade Edition adds a stylish blacked-out look to the bZ4X, with black 18-inch alloy wheels, black mirror caps, black door handles, and black badges. The Nightshade Edition is available in two colors: Wind Chill Pearl and Black.
The bZ4X is Toyota’s first mass-produced, all-electric SUV. It offers a spacious and comfortable interior, a long driving range of up to 252 miles on a single charge, and advanced safety and technology features.
The bZ4X is built on Toyota’s new e-TNGA platform, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles. The platform provides a low center of gravity for improved stability and handling, and it also allows for a spacious interior.
The bZ4X is powered by a 71.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that produces 201 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The battery pack is located under the floor of the vehicle, which helps to lower the center of gravity and improve handling.
The bZ4X comes standard with a variety of advanced safety and technology features, including Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, a suite of driver-assist technologies that help to prevent accidents and mitigate the severity of collisions.
The bZ4X is also available with a variety of optional features, including a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated seats, and a premium audio system.
