REGINA, Sask. – Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is reporting the seizure of contraband and unauthorized items at Saskatchewan Penitentiary, a medium-security federal institution.
The seizure was the result of a search conducted by Correctional Officers on December 16 and 17, 2024.
The following items were seized:
- 160 grams of tobacco
- 50 grams of marijuana
- 8 cell phones
- 6 cell phone chargers
- 3 homemade weapons
- 1 lighter
