Larson was a member of the House Committee on Small Business and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. He was also a co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Black-White Relations.
Larson died on October 29, 2023, at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife, Sherry, and three children.
