About the CPT

About the Position

  • Engage in dialogue with governments and other stakeholders to promote the implementation of the CPT’s recommendations.

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in law, criminology, human rights, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the field of human rights, with a particular focus on the prevention of torture and other forms of ill-treatment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in German, English, and French.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to travel extensively within Europe.
