Foreign Minister James Cleverly met with Interim Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka on Wednesday to discuss the latest developments in the country.
The UK Government has been a strong supporter of Bangladesh’s democratic transition and has provided financial and technical assistance to the Interim Government.
In a statement, the Foreign Office said:
