Ottawa, ON – The Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage, today announced the allocation of additional funding to 14 organizations across Canada through the Enabling Fund for Official Language Minority Communities (OLFMC). This funding will support projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the vitality and sustainability of OLFMCs.

The Enabling Fund for OLFMCs provides financial assistance to organizations that support and promote the development and vitality of OLFMCs across Canada. The Government of Canada announced in Budget 2023 an additional \$23.9 million over five years starting in 2023–24 to the Enabling Fund, bringing the total funding available to \$71.4 million for the period from 2023–24 to 2027–28.

The 14 organizations receiving additional funding are:
