- A483 Trunk Road at Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire between a point 200 metres east of its junction with Cwmduad Road (B4302) and a point 50 metres west of its junction with Cwmduad Road (B4302).
Duration of Restriction
The Order will come into force on 14th November 2024 and will have a maximum duration of 18 months. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 3 weeks.
Alternative Route
During the closure of the A483 trunk road at Llandeilo, suitable alternative routes will be signed.
Traffic traveling eastbound (towards Llandovery) will use the following diversion:
- A483 eastbound to Penygawse Roundabout
- A40 westbound to Llandovery
Traffic traveling westbound (towards Carmarthen) will use the following diversion:
- A483 westbound to Llandovery
- A40 eastbound to Penygawse Roundabout
Exceptions
The prohibition does not apply to vehicles being used:
- By a statutory undertaker in the performance of its functions;
- For the purpose of works being carried out by or on behalf of the Welsh Ministers;
- In connection with the installation or removal of apparatus or equipment in the road;
- For police, fire and rescue or ambulance purposes; or
- For military purposes.
Diversion
During the closure of the A483 trunk road at Llandeilo, a diversion will be in place. The diversion will be clearly signposted on-site.
