The A83 Trunk Road (Inveraray) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) (No. 3) Order 2024

This Order, which is made under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, prohibits the use of the A83 Trunk Road, Inveraray, for a distance of approximately 140 metres south of the access to Craigard, in order to facilitate the reconstruction of the road and footpath.

The Order will be in operation from 22:00 hours on 11 November 2024 until 06:00 hours on 16 November 2024. The prohibition will apply to all vehicles, with the exception of vehicles engaged in the construction works and emergency services vehicles.

During the period of the prohibition, alternative routes will be available via the A819 (Benderloch to Inveraray Road) and the B840 (Inveraray to Furnace Road).

Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the works.
