Minister MacKinnon Announces Appointments to Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety Council

Today, the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion, announced the appointment of six new members to the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) Council of Governors. These appointments will help ensure that the Council has the necessary skills and expertise to continue its important work in promoting the health and safety of Canadian workers.

“I am pleased to welcome these highly qualified individuals to the CCOHS Council of Governors,” said Minister MacKinnon. “Their expertise and experience will be invaluable as we work together to improve the health and safety of Canadian workers.”
The CCOHS Council of Governors is responsible for providing strategic direction to the organization and ensuring that its programs and services meet the needs of Canadian workplaces. The Council is composed of 15 members, including the Chair and Vice-Chair, who are appointed by the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion.
The new appointments will take effect on December 1, 2024.
Biographies of the New Members
