The A96 Trunk Road (Nairn) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Road) Order 2024 has been made under section 14(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and will come into force on 6th November 2024.
The Order
The temporary traffic regulation order is being introduced due to carriageway resurfacing works being carried out by BEAR Scotland.
The Order temporarily prohibits the use of the A96 Trunk Road, at Nairn, to all vehicular traffic. There will be a contraflow system in place at the location during the works.
Schedule
The restrictions will be in force 24 hours a day for the duration of the works and are expected to be removed by 27th November 2024.
