These Regulations amend the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) (Prescription of Drugs Etc.) (Wales) Regulations 2013 (“the principal Regulations”).
The principal Regulations make provision about the prescription of drugs, appliances and other services by doctors providing general medical services under Part 1 of the National Health Service Act 2006 in relation to Wales.
These Regulations amend the principal Regulations so as to provide for the reimbursement of certain travel costs incurred by an individual in respect of whom a prescription form has been issued by a doctor providing general medical services under Part 1 of the National Health Service Act 2006 in relation to Wales.
These Regulations come into force on 1 December 2024.
